How an ACA sale flows through ChronosCodex
The quote starts from the household you already have: ZIP, county, ages and income come from the client record, and every quote is saved back to it with a reference number, so you can reopen exactly what was offered. Only ZIP, county, ages, tobacco use, household size and income are sent to HealthSherpa for a quote. Names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers are not sent.
Enrollment itself happens where it always has. ChronosCodex keeps the client relationship around it: the household, the consent, the policy and the follow-ups.
What Free does not include
- Calling and texting. Phone and SMS run natively inside ChronosCodex on your agency's own numbers, but they start on paid plans.
- Fax. Fax is available on paid plans.
- More than one login. Free is for one agent. Add teammates on a paid plan.
- A HealthSherpa account. ACA quoting needs your own HealthSherpa account and API key. Any HealthSherpa data beyond quoting and plan information, such as policy status, requires each agent to request that access from HealthSherpa for their own key.

Questions ACA agents ask
Is the ACA CRM really free?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 a month and needs no credit card. Paid plans are monthly with no contracts, and you only move up if you choose to.
Do I need a HealthSherpa account to use the free CRM?
Not for the CRM itself. Households, import and consent forms work without it. To quote ACA plans inside ChronosCodex, an owner or admin adds your HealthSherpa API key in Integrations; the key is checked with HealthSherpa when it is saved.
Can I move my existing HealthSherpa clients in?
Yes. Import from a CSV file or from your HealthSherpa book-of-business export.
Does ChronosCodex enroll clients in marketplace plans?
No. ChronosCodex quotes and organizes; enrollment happens in the marketplace or enrollment platform you already use.
